Cathy Marie Rappa

Cathy Marie Rappa - Born in Lewistown, MT on October 27, 1957; passed away suddenly with her family by her side at UC Davis Hospital on August 18, 2007 due to complications from a house fire. Devoted mother of Taylor Rappa and survived by her ex-husband Bob Rappa both of Petaluma. Beloved daughter of Rita and Gordon Flowers of Elko and the late Lowell Smith of MT. Adored sister of Rick Smith of Elko, Adele Nylander (Kirk) of Spring Creek, and Angela Zari of Sacramento. Loving aunt of Kirk and Jenna Nylander, Tiffany Cabarello, Tabitha Rose and Stevi Zari. Survived by her step-father Peter Zari of San Diego; step-siblings Robert Flowers (Dawn), Ricky Flowers (Shirley), Kimberley and Kathy Flowers; close friends to her heart Julie, Lucy, Ron, Pauline, Juanita and Andrew. Cathy was a devoted sister, mother, daughter and friend. She graduated from Casa Grande High School. Cathy was always available to those who needed help; she had a heart of gold and will forever be remembered and missed. Friends and family are invited to attend the Funeral Liturgy, Tuesday, August 28, 2007 at 12:00 PM at PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma.
