Celia Pellinacci

CELIA PELLINACCI, 81, died September 29, 2018 at home in Rohnert Park after a long illness.  She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Ray, and their children Lisa (Dennis) Holmberg and Michael Pellinacci, and Ray’s daughters Denise Weber and Debra Pellinacci (Bill Jennings), whom she loved dearly.  She is also survived by six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was born in December of 1936 in Tucson, Arizona and moved to San Francisco with her mother Carol and brother Robert, who predeceased her.  She attended Norte Dame High School.  She met Ray at a Sons of Italy dance in San Francisco in 1960 and they were married in August of 1966.  They lived for about 14 years in Pacifica, CA where Celia did in-home child care and worked as a licensed cosmetologist before moving to Rohnert Park in 1980 where she worked in retail sales for many years.  Celia enjoyed playing softball, bowling, and crafting with her grandchildren and her best friend and sister-in-law, Gloria Gardella. Her family wishes to thank Celia’s wonderful caregivers, Maryann Castro and Shirley Conche. Friends and family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Friday, October 5 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Cotati, reception to follow.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may made to the Alzheimer’s Association.  Private Entombment.
