Charles "Ed" Edward Welling

April 20, 1960 - May 6, 2022 Ed, 62 years old, passed with his mother, Beverly, and family close by. The son of Charles Welling, Sr., and Beverly Welling, he was the second of two children. He grew up in Bodega on the family ranch raising sheep and running heavy equipment with his father. He spent many years of his career driving trucks through nearly every state in the nation, running heavy equipment, flying livestock to and from Hawaii, and many other things. He had three children, Gary, Stephen, and Alicia, along with two stepsons, Daniel and David. His also had thirteen grandchildren. Ed was well known for his unique sense of humor, his way of starting conversations, and his desire to help those in need. He loved his family, was always up for an adventure, and never ran out of stories to tell. He will be greatly missed by many. A service will be held at 10:30am on Saturday, May 21, 2022, at Parent-Sorensen Mortuary, 301 S Main St, Sebastopol.
