Charles E. "Chuck" Helmick, Sr. - Chuck Helmick, Sr. passed away at his Petaluma residence on January 9, 2011. Husband of Ann Helmick of Petaluma. Father of Charles Helmick, Jr. and the late Angelo Helmick, and Michelle Helmick. Father-in-law of Cindy Helmick of Middletown. Grandfather of Charles E. Helmick, III, Cristen Helmick, and Casey and Whitney Helmick. Great-grandfather of Nickoa and Caden. Brother of Shirley Shoate of OR. Survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Chuck has been a resident of Petaluma since he was 6 years old. A very proud veteran of the Korean War, serving in the Air Force. Chuck worked for Pacific Bell for over 25 years.
