Charlotte A. Rapp

Charlotte Alice “Happy” Rapp passed away peacefully at home on March 7, 2021.  “Happy” started her life in Chicago, IL to later settle in Petaluma, CA. Beloved daughter to the late John Harper and Charlotte Tanforan and preceded in death by her first born Michelle Volker. Loving mother to Candace Volker (Steve Klein), Alicia Volker Rones (Todd) and Christopher Volker. Adored sister to Patti Ott, aunt to Jennifer O’Neil (Dan) and Jeffery Ott and great aunt to Lindsey and Bridget. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren Nina Alejos (Charley), Dominique Hecker (Adam Schlesinger), Jordan Rones and Allie Rones and her great grandchildren Carson Alejos, Lyla Alejos and Nala Schlesinger.

She worked a variety of jobs ultimately finding joy as activity director for several local retirement homes.   She loved the beach and collecting shells, and she passed her love of music to her children.  We will all miss her crazy antics and wicked sense of humor.  She had a deep devotion to animals of every kind.
