Cheryl Ann Crayne

Our beloved mother, Cheryl Crayne, was called into Heaven at the age of 73 on March 21, 2022. She was born to Robert and Erma Crawford on July 13, 1948 in Santa Cruz, CA. In 1965, the family relocated to Samuel P. Taylor State Park in West Marin where her father worked as a State Park Ranger. Cheryl attended Tomales High School where she met and later married Bill Crayne. She enjoyed being a military wife and spending her young married life living on US Naval bases in Rhode Island and Alameda, CA. They went on to raise four children on the family dairy farm in Tomales, CA. She later moved to Rohnert Park and worked fulltime through the end of her days as an accounting clerk. Our Mom loved the simple things in life; spending time with her children and granddaughters, listening to music, reading books, playing cards, walking on the beach, traveling, potting plants, and tending to her birdfeeders. She is survived by her children, Christy (Gino) Bordessa, Tracie (Pierre) Crayne Marizco, Jennifer Crayne and Michael (Angela Cole) Crayne and her granddaughters, Chelsea Crayne, Cassidy Bordessa, and Mollie and Megan Donaldson. She will be forever missed but always in our hearts.

Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday, April 16,2022 at 10:00 am at Parent- Sorensen Mortuary, Petaluma, with a celebration of life immediately following. The family recommends donations in memory of Cheryl Crayne be made to the Tomales Regional History Center P.O. Box 262 Tomales, CA. 94971 or to a breast cancer research foundation of your choosing.
