Clara Jane Perucchi

September 4, 1931 – December 30, 2023. With profound sadness we share the passing of Clara Jane Perucchi, our loving and devoted mother and friend to all whose lives she touched. She was 92.

Clara was born in San Francisco, CA to Henry and Ethel Schallich then moved to Tomales, CA at a young age. She attended Tomales Grammer School and graduated from Tomales High School in 1949. She also married her sweetheart Henry the same year and they moved to Bodega, CA in 1952 to start their own dairy farm and a family. Clara was active on the dairy farm and a homemaker, as well as a Pink Lady at Palm Drive Hospital in Sebastopol, CA for over 20 years and a member of the Tomales Regional History Center and Marin-Sonoma Italian Club.

Clara was preceded in death by her husband Henry, they were married for 73 years. Survived by two sons, Mike (Laura) Perucchi and Steve (Nancy) Perucchi, grandchildren Ashley (Dan) O’Callaghan, Josh (Kelsey) Perucchi, Mandy (Brian) Kelly, as well as 6 great-grandsons, sister-in-law Alyce (Joe) Jansen and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank friend Susie Corda for her amazing care and kindness.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 11, 2024, from 4PM to 7PM at Parent-Sorensen in Petaluma, CA with a private burial at Tomales Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Clara’s honor may be made to Earl Baum Society or a charity of your choice.
