Passed away suddenly at home in Laytonville, CA, on November 7, 2019.
Loving husband of Geraldine “Jerri” Mora. Beloved father of Michael Mora, Gina Mora-Smith (Greg) and stepfather of Michael Silva (Karlene). Cherished grandfather of four grandsons and two granddaughters and great grandfather of four great granddaughters. Son of the late Clemente and Ellen Mora. Devoted brother of Mary Schultz, Maureen R. Agius (James) and the late Jim Mora (Ginger). Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A naïve of Santa Rosa, CA. Age 79 years.
Clem was reared and educated in West Sonoma County, graduating from Analy High School. Clem served as the FFA president and showed lambs, receiving the Grand Champion judging when he was a student at Analy High School. He was and avid hunter and trap shooter as well as a horseman, being a member of the Sonoma County Trail Blazers, H & B Driving and Riding Society, several other riding clubs and the NRA. He ran the Kaiser Sand and Gravel Plant in Santa Rosa before starting his own paving and grading business (Clem Mora Paving) as a Contractor.
After his retirement, he and Jerri have enjoyed the last 20 years in Laytonville, going on horseback rides with their friends as well as a wonderful cruise to Alaska. A highlight was hosting their annual New Years Eve parties for family and friends on the ranch.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 21, 2019 at 1:00 PM at LAFFERTY & SMITH COLONIAL CHAPEL (4321 Sonoma Highway, Santa Rosa, CA, 95409). Interment to follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Santa Rosa.
