Clorinda Gladys Zimmerman

Clorinda Gladys (Bordessa) Zimmerman - Born on April 8, 1921 to Rosa and Peter Bordessa; passed away peacefully in her sleep on April 2, 2012 in Petaluma. She would have been 91 years old on Easter Sunday. Clorinda was born in Petaluma and grew up in the Salmon Creek Marshall area. Enjoying the outdoors, she worked alongside her husband on their Bloomfield Ranch. She and Earle also enjoyed their old antique car and were members of the Antique Roadster Club for several years. Clorinda loved crafts, gardening, animals, and taught knitting. She was a kind and generous lady, always ready with a cup of coffee for anyone stopping in; she will be missed. The family wishes to thank Hospice of Petaluma and Windsor Care Center of Petaluma for their excellent care. Mom-Thank you for all your kindness and memories. You will be in our hearts and prayers forever; we all love you. Friends and family are invited to attend the Funeral Liturgy, Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma. A Visitation will be held on Monday, April 9, 2012 from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Petaluma, the Tomales Regional History Center, or your favorite charity. Devoted wife of over 50 years to the late Earle Stuart Zimmerman. Cherished mother of June Molseed (Stan) and Diana McCall (Bill). Adored grandmother of Kevin and Dave Molseed; Sheila Bibee; and Dan, Michael and Kelly McCall. Beloved great-grandmother of Justin and Julianna Bibee; Timothy and Brandon McCall; and Chase Molseed. Loving sister of Stella Corda, Eda Tomasetti, and the late Paul Bordessa. Dear sister-in-law of Elsie Bordessa, Mervyn Zimmerman (Mary), Evan Zimmerman (Tillie), and Mary Zimmerman. Survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
