Big brother to Janette Breckenridge and spouse Bus Breckenridge of Enid, Oklahoma. Proud grandfather to John Hunt and spouse Emi and Marie Hunt of San Antonio, TX, Cody, Matt, and Keith Hergert of Sebastopol, and Stefanie Puckett of Santa Rosa. Great Grandfather to Nathan and Trenton Fowler of San Antonio, TX. "" Bergie was a World War II Veteran serving in the US Army for 20 plus years. Bergie worked behind the bar at the Hide-Away for 2 decades and more than five years at Andresen's until retirement. He was an avid sports fan, loved his garden of roses, was a generous man to all he knew, who loved our country and loved our flag.
