Concei Machado Brazil

It is with great sorrow that we announce the death of Conceição Brazil, 96. She died peacefully in her sleep on July 11, 2021. Conceição was born on December 8, 1924, in Santo Antonio, Sao Jorge, Acores, Portugal, the daughter of Ana Constantino de Lemos Machado and Antonio Domingos Machado. She immigrated to the United States of America in January of 1981. An artistic woman who was dedicated to her faith and family, Conceição was an example of a loving and pious woman.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Dimas Santos, her former husband, Joao Santos, five brothers, five sisters, and her loving husband, Vital Brazil.

Conceição is survived by her children, Manual Santos (Laura), Maria de Fatima Dinis (Joao), Maria Celeste Corvelo (Jose), and her stepchildren, Victor Brazil (Sandy), John Brazil (Michele), Margaret Brazil (Annette), Darlene Brazil (Erik), her sister, Germana Talbot, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 19, 2021 at Saint Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic Church in Petaluma, beginning with a reading of the Rosary at 10:30 a.m. followed by Mass and interment services at 11:00 a.m.
