Connie, 90, passed away peacefully at home in Petaluma. She was born in Ripon and is survived by devoted husband John William De Jong, children Dave & Kathi DeJong, Deedee DeJong Wheat, Duane & Frances DeJong, Don & Ann DeJong; grandchildren Eric and Darren Wheat, Shannon, Morgan, Dylan, and Cotter DeJong,Tracy Thomas McGovert; great-grandchildren Ireland and Zachariah Wheat. She was predeceased by siblings and Grandson Christopher David DeJong. Heartfelt thanks to caregivers Marica Seruiratu, Maraia Druava. Friends and family are invited to the Visitation on Saturday, October 8, 2016 from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm at the PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma. The Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at 11:00 am at the Ripon Cemetery, 320 N. Stockton St., Ripon, CA.
