Courtland "Chappie" Moody

Courtland C. "Chappie" Moody passed away on March 1, 2022, with his family by his side.  Devoted partner of Susan Proctor of Petaluma.  Adored father of Crystal Cone (Charlie) of AR and the late David Chapman Moody.  Predeceased by one grandchild.  Loving brother of Mike Moody, Patrick Moody, Don Castile, Shawn Castile, Kathy Stricklin, Patti Dellabruna (Joe) and the late Thomas Moody, Jr. and “Ralph.”  Survived by numerous nieces and nephews.  Favorite uncle of JC (Denise).

Chappie was born in Garberville and graduated from Willits High School.  He had a beautiful voice and a passion for Country Western music and antique cars.  In 2011, Chappie met his match, Susan, and they enjoyed the last eleven years together.  The true princess in his life was his daughter, Crystal. Chappie had a special bond with his son-in-law, Charlie, who promises “not to break his lease option.”  He was a wonderful man and will be greatly missed.

Friends and family are invited to attend the Memorial Service, Thursday, March 3, 2022 (today), at 11:00 am at the Petaluma Estates Clubhouse, 901 N. McDowell Blvd., Petaluma.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to your favorite charity.  Private Inurnment.
