Dan Lee Canet Sr.

Dan L. Canet Sr. passed away on March 25, 2022 at age 85 in Santa Rosa, CA after a battle with cancer. He was born in San Luis Obispo, CA He resided most of his earlier years in Cayucos CA going to school in Cayucos and Cambria. He was the son of George and Roberta Canet of Cayucos. After serving in the Army, he married his wife Dorothy, also of Cayucos. They were married for 59 years. They moved to Santa Rosa, CA in 1966 where he worked as a Land Surveyor for the County of Sonoma for 33 years before retiring. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy, and their three children, Dan L. Canet Jr.(Annette) of Windsor, CA, Catherine Canet Burgard (Emil) of Forrest Grove, OR and Lori Wyatt (Michael) of Windsor, CA, their four grandchildren, Vanessa Salatino, Andrea Needham, Leann Armbrust, and Travis Wyatt; and eight great grandchildren. Dan will be buried at the Canet Family Cemetery in Morro Bay, CA following a private family service.
