Darlene Helen Giacomini

Passed away January 23, 2021 in Petaluma, CA at the age of 78. Beloved wife of the late Richard Louis Giacomini. Loving mother of Lisa (Allan) Martinoni, Ron (Lisa) Giacomini and Rick (Marie) Giacomini. Cherished grandmother of Eric, Melissa and Arika Martinoni, Jordan, Alex and Daltyn Giacomini. Loving sister of Dolores (Dan) Evans and Alfreida (Bob) Foehr. Niece of Louise Ayers.  Dear sister-in law of Bob and Gayle Giacomini, Jeanette Giacomini, David (Gail) Giacomini and Dana (late Pete) Valconesi. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Darlene, a member of the pioneer Grossi, Nosecchi and Giacomini families of West Marin, was the daughter of the late Alfred and Florence (Nosecchi) Grossi, longtime dairy family. After her marriage to Rich Giacomini, Darlene taught school until her children were born, and she raised her family and assisted with the operation of the family dairy. She enjoyed cooking, bowling, playing bingo but most of all she enjoyed her children and grandchildren.

Due to current conditions, a celebration of life will be planned when safe to plan. Private inurnment, Olema Cemetery.  The family prefers memorials be made to Hospice of Petaluma or the Tomales Boosters Club, PO Box 435, Tomales, CA 94971.
