Darryl Anderson

Darryl Anderson - Born August 16, 1914 in Council Bluff, Iowa and passed away December 28, 2006 in Petaluma, CA. Beloved son of Swan and Anna Anderson and brother to Dorothy Middleton and the late Loretta Andrews, Howard Anderson, Cleo Klone, and Gay Bloore. Uncle to numerous nieces and nephews. Special friend to Kae, James and Sara Rebolcaba of Placerville, CA. Mr. Anderson grew up on a farm in Nebraska. He later served in the United States Army during World War II. He was stationed in Europe and was in the Battle of the Bulge. He lived many years in Lake Tahoe as a carpenter and built many houses and cabins there. His later years were spent in Placerville and finally in Petaluma, CA. He will be sorely missed by his niece Beverly Proud, his special friends at P.E.P., the Vallejo Senior Apartments and the Petaluma Christian Church. Friends and family are invited to attend a Graveside Service on Friday, January 5, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at Cypress Hill Memorial Park, 430 Magnolia Avenue, Petaluma, CA. In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorial contributions be made to the P.E.P Program, 3920 Cypress Drive, Petaluma, CA, 94954 or to the Petaluma Christian Church, 1160 Schuman Lane, Petaluma, CA. 94952. The family was served by Parent-Sorensen Mortuary & Crematory, Petaluma, CA.
