Husband of the late Cornelia Pryor Freedman. Father of Meredith Anne Freedman of Petaluma, Nadezdha Burgoyne and her husband John of Glasgow, Scotland, David M. Freedman and his wife Genevieve of Petaluma, and Jonathan P. Freedman and his wife Kathleen of Montara, CA. Loving grandfather of nine and great-grandfather of eight. Dear brother of Dr. Benedict Freedman and his wife Nancy of Greenbrae, CA, Dr. Toby Freedman and his wife Carol of Seattle and Laurie Hayden and her husband Larry of New York City. Noel was the workaholicâ??s workaholic; into his 60s and 70s, seventy-hour work-weeks were the norm. To me he once gave well-intentioned career advice: â??Never say â??Noâ?? to anything anyone asks you to do.â?
