David Hitchcock

David Hitchcock - Died February 10, 2009. A native of Pasadena, CA, born August 29, 1928. He attended Pasadena City Schools, graduated from Pomona College in 1952. Mr. Hitchcock was a veteran of World War II serving in the Untied States Navy. He is survived by Dorothy, his beloved wife of 58 years, daughters Katherine Walker of Stockton and Mary McCourt of Joshua Tree, granddaughters Kelly and Amy Walker. David served California local government as Personnel Director for the city of Riverside, Finance Director of Orange County and General Service Administrator for San Bernardino County. He also served on the 1994 Sonoma County Grand Jury. He was a charter member and captain of the Men"s Niners at the Oakmont Golf Club. The family wishes to thank Hospice by the Bay and Sandy. Private services have been held. Arrangement under the direction of Lafferty & Smith Colonial Chapel, 4321 Sonoma Highway, Santa Rosa, CA.
