David Anthony Lubiszewski

David Anthony Lubiszewski - David Anthony Lubiszewski, 50, passed away on August 1, 2011, at his Petaluma home after battling cancer for the past eight months. He was born December 24, 1960, in Wurzburg, Germany, where his father was stationed with the U.S. Army. After posts in Ft. Benning, Georgia, and the Presidio, San Francisco, the family settled in Petaluma where David attended local elementary schools and Casa Grande High School. David worked in the construction field spending the past 21 years at W.R. Ford Associates, where he leaves many friends. He was a long time member of Laborer's Union Local 291. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2011 at 2:00 pm at PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma. Memorial contributions may be made to an education fund established for minor daughter Michaela Lubiszewski at Exchange Bank, 2 East Washington Street, Petaluma, CA, 94952. An avid outdooorsman, Davidâ??s zest for life included boating, fishing, camping, diving and mountain biking. He was an accomplished landscaper and took pride in maintaining his house and yard. When not working, he spent time with his family, whether camping at Dillon Beach or snorkeling and bike riding in Maui. He loved taking his daughter and her friends 'tubing' on Lake Sonoma and attended numerous soccer, volleyball and softball games. A true and loyal friend, David was loved by many.
