David John Luiz - David Luiz passed away in Santa Rosa on Feb. 12, 2008. Devoted husband of Kathy Luiz of Rohnert Park. Loving son of Inge "Marie""" Luiz and the late George Luiz. Adored brother of Debbie (Wally) Conger of Arroyo Grande, CA and the late Dan Luiz. Dear father of Terra Vargas and grandfather of Sierra Vargas both of Fremont, CA. Son-in-law of Ken Rickert and the late Barbara Rickert. Brother-in-law of Jim (Cheri) Rickert, Jon (Becky) Rickert, Jerry (Judy) Rickert and Joel Rickert. Grandson of the late John Luiz, Margaret Lewis, Chris and Caroline (Boysen) Arfsten. Survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. "" David worked for J.D.S.Uniphase in Santa Rosa for over 15 years. He will be remembered as a "Giant""" of a man, generous and thoughtful, always putting others before himself. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. ""
