DAVID T. NOBLE (age 93), husband of LaVerne (Maestretti) Noble, passed away peacefully with family on 17 January 2015. He was born in Cranston, RI to Enoch Afton Noble and Imogene Mae (Glover) Noble. A longtime math teacher at Petaluma Junior High School, he also enjoyed refinishing and restoring classic pieces of furniture and was an active member of a WWII veteran pilot group.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, LaVerne P. (Maestretti) Noble of Petaluma and his children Jo-Anna Noble (Windy Callahan) of Windsor, Laura Wiley of Willits, Michael Foster of Willits, Lisa Dawson (Chris) of Sebastopol, David Noble, Jr. (Laurie) of Sonoma, Peter Foster (Dyan) of Santa Rosa, William Foster (Lisa) of Truckee, Timothy Noble (Miriam) of Rocklin, Elizabeth Sower (Nick) of Carmichael, Robert Foster (Tracey) of Santa Rosa, and 24 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. David was predeceased by his children Jeffrey and Rebecca Foster, William Foster and his sister Glenna Louise Stenhouse.
Friends and family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass, Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at 11:00 am at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 35 Liberty St., Petaluma. A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm at the PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice by the Bay or the Petaluma Educational Foundation. Interment: Calvary Cemetery, Petaluma.
