Born in Fremont Nebraska on September 29 1938 and later the family moved to Petaluma. He attended St. Vincent's grade school and Petaluma high school. He coached his children in a variety of sports and was the biggest fan at all his grand children's sporting events. Wind rain or shine. He loved to teach. He was an extremely loving, devoted, gentle and caring. He would do anything for anyone. He never complained. He loved to dance and laugh and he had a great sense of humor. He and LeeAnn loved to camp and genuinely just love being together. His eyes would light up at the sound of her voice and she took care of him with the same devotion during his 10-year battle.
He was a loyal member of the fraternal Order of the Eagles serving as secretary and a loyal officer in the 901Elks Lodge serving as secretary until he could no longer work. He will be truly missed by all his family and friends especially his "buddy" of over 60 years David Lindberg.
