Denise Marie Hawley

Denise Marie Hawley passed away in her sleep on May 21, 2019 in the peace of knowing she was (finally) a grandmother. Denise shared a fierce sense of humour, an indomitable cheerfulness, and a wonder towards life with all who met her. In a life of small privileges, she instilled in those around her a feeling of grace and thanks when they arrived. She relished her job as a United States postal employee in Petaluma during her 25 years of service and gained the respect of man and dog alike.

She was blessed with loyal friends and family who stood by her side as she battled complications from surgery. Denise loved the world with child-like enthusiasm, sacrificed herself for those she loved, and now rests in the place of peace prepared for her.

She is survived and missed by her mother, Joan Hutton; her daughter, Dianna Stommel; son-in-law, Phil Stommel; son, Matthew Huculak; daughter-in-law, Nancy Norris; grandchildren Margaux, Joseph, Aiden, Sierra, and Dominic; as well as family far and wide.
