Denise Colleen Mott

Denise Mott died peacefully at her home in Petaluma, CA on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at the age of 59 after a valiant three year battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband, Kevin Mott; her children, Charmaine Creer (Nathan), Gary Kircher (Becky) and Stacy Hastings (Cade), her grandchildren; Ryan, Kiley, Kiersten, Cheyenne, Dakota, Konnor, Isabella, Christopher, Logan, Liam and Maryn; her beloved siblings Michelle Stewart (Tom) and John Walsh III (Dominique) and predeceased brother, Bruce Parkins. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. A San Francisco native, Denise was born and raised both in San Francisco and eventually Novato, CA where she graduated from San Marin High School in 1974. She was well respected in the business community in San Francisco as owner of Globe Bay Area Forklift and Next Generation Transportation for 35 years. Her greatest joy was family, and she had many opportunities to travel which she greatly enjoyed. She will be missed tremendously by those who loved her. Visitation will be held, Friday, July 22, 2016 at the PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM, with the Vigil Service at 7:00 PM. Family and friends are also invited to the Funeral Liturgy, Saturday, July 23, 2016 at 10:00 AM at PARENT-SORENSEN. Interment, private. The family prefer memorials be made to Hospice By the Bay or to St. Jude's Children's Hospital. Vigil Service
