Diana Lee Cornett

DIANA LEE CORNETT passed away on October 28, 2017 in Fallon, CA at the age of 73 years.  Devoted wife of the late Francis “Buddy” Cornett.  Cherished mother of Francis “Chris” Cornett (Lynnette), Rebecca Cornett, and Corky Cornett (Gina).  Adored grandmother of Kenneth, Timothy, Collin, Charley, and Ruffin.  Beloved great-grandmother of Wyatt and Cash.  Loving sister of Marlene Gentry and David Katlarz.  Survived by several nieces and nephews.

Diana was born in Kansas but grew up in Novato.  She graduated from Novato High School and received her associate’s degree from Heald Business College in San Francisco.  Diana and her husband, Buddy, owned and operated a sheep ranch in Fallon.  But, it was her love of dance that made her open Diana’s Creative School of Dance in Petaluma.  In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening and cooking.  But, above all, Diana loved her family.  She was a wonderful woman and will be greatly missed.

Friends and family are invited to attend the Funeral Liturgy on Monday, November 6, 2017 at 12:00 pm at the PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma.  A Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 5, 2017 from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm at the Mortuary.  Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Petaluma.  Interment: Tomales Catholic Cemetery.
