Dimas R. Pacheco

Dimas R. Pacheco passed away on August 31, 2021 in Santa Rosa at the age of 78 years.  Devoted husband of Mary Pacheco of Petaluma.  Adored father of Tim Pacheco and his wife Amber and Steven Pacheco and his wife Lisa.  Beloved grandfather of Mason and Colby Pacheco; and Jaden, Talya and Aubrey Pacheco; and the late Tyler Pacheco.  Predeceased by three brothers and two sisters.  Survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Dimas was born and reared in Terceira, Azores but emigrated to the United States.  The family moved to Sonoma County and settled in Petaluma in 1978.  He was a member of St. James Catholic Church, Petaluma Holy Ghost Society and the Senhor Santo Christo Society.  Dimas enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. He was a wonderful man and will be greatly missed.

Friends and family are invited to attend the Funeral Liturgy, Thursday, September 9, 2021 at 12:30 pm at the PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma.  A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a Vigil Service at 7:00 pm at the Mortuary.  Interment: Calvary Cemetery, Petaluma.
