Dolores Pozzi

Dolores Pozzi left this world on September 14th 2018 at the age of 88. She was born on July 25th 1930 in San Jose, CA and lived a full, wonderful rich life in Petaluma, CA. During her childhood Dolores split time between San Jose and Petaluma. Right after WWII as she was working as a supervisor at Sunset Line and Twine in Petaluma she met the love of her life and soulmate Martin. They met on Petaluma Blvd when Martin stopped to change a flat tire on the car that Dolores and her mother were driving. From that point forward, they shared a very special bond and many interesting adventures during the course of their 65 years of marriage.

Shortly after getting married and having three children Dolores willingly gave up her career to become a full-time mother. Family was extremely important to Dolores. She always tried to express with words and actions how much she enjoyed being a loving wife and mother.

Dolores is survived by her son Martin, daughters Linda Hutchinson and Lisa Higgs and six grandchildren. Everyone who had the pleasure of knowing Dolores will miss her, and the family requests that donations be given to Memorial Hospice in lieu of flowers.
