Domingo Pereira, Jr. - Passed away on March 19, 2011 in Petaluma. Devoted husband of Diane G. Pereira of Petaluma. Cherished father of Debra Jensen Melendez (Carlos) of San Mateo; Denise Parker (Rick) of Bend, OR; Darlene Bettencourt (Nelson) of Woodlands, TX; and Dina McCrea (Mark) of Lakeport. Adored grandfather of Darcy Storms (Jake), Matthew Jensen, Jeffrey Jensen, Brett Parker (Abi), Brandon Parker (Jayme), Amber Bettencourt, Brianna Bettencourt, Connor McCrea, and Madison McCrea. Great-grandfather of Isabella Storms and one on the way. Loving brother of the late Carl Mendonca. Dear brother-in-law of Roberta Malkemus. Survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and special caregiver, Mereani Jepsen. A lifelong resident, Domingo was born in Petaluma, raised on a local dairy ranch and graduated from Petaluma High School. He then married his high school sweetheart Diane, and together they enjoyed 58 years of marriage. He spent 40 years in the CA National Guard, retiring in 1993. In his younger years, Domingo enjoyed dirt bike riding, camping with his family and canoodling with his many friends. After retirement he enjoyed woodworking, RVing, and cooking & BBQing for family and friends. Above all, he loved spending time with his family in the community that he loved. He will be greatly missed. Friends and family are invited to attend the Celebration of Life, Saturday, March 26, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the Petaluma Moose Lodge, 300 English St., Petaluma.
