Donald N. Carlson - Don Carlson passed away on May 6, 2009 at his Petaluma residence. Devoted husband of Luisa Cruz Carlson of Petaluma. Cherished son of Dorothy Carlson of Alameda and the late Robert Carlson. Dear brother of Gail Carlson and Ron Carlson both of Alameda. Uncle to Krystal Carlson and Robert Carlson. Favored relative to family in California, Oklahoma and North Carolina. Devoted family favorite to Luisa's children and grandchildren. As per his request, there will not be a service. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Petaluma, 416 Payran St., Petaluma, CA 94952. Don enjoyed hunting and hanging out with his best friend Ralph Baca, cooking for family and his Lakeville friends, and spending time with his 'honey' Luisa. Don learned his trucking skills from his friend Mark while working for his company, and in later years worked for Dolan Trucking.
