Donald E. Wallace - Passed away on November 16, 2007 in Sebastopol. Devoted husband of the late Patricia M. Wallace. Adored father of Matthew Wallace of Tucson, AZ, Tracy Miles of Forestville, and the late Mark Wallace. Cherished grandfather of Mark Wallace, Jr., John Oâ??Donnell, Amy Oâ??Donnell, Emily Miles, and April Wallace. Beloved great-grandfather of Temoc and Yeltzin Wallace, Taten Werner, and Tristen and Cali McDonald. Loving brother of Carole Giacomini and the late Wally Wallace and Bill Wallace. Survived by several nieces and nephews. Age: 80 years. Donald was born, reared and educated in San Francisco, graduating from Polytechnic High School where he excelled in track. He enlisted in the US Navy during WWII and worked as a radio operator on ships. After his discharge, he was later recalled to duty during the Korean War. Donald was in the grocery business for many years, working his way up from clerk to manager. He later worked as a truck driver for Victor Meats in Oakland then for Palm Drive Hospital for 12 years. An avid sports fan, Donald enjoyed rooting for the Raiders and the Yankees. In his spare time, he also enjoyed gardening. Above all else, Donald was a family man. It gave him great pleasure getting together with them and giving them his love and care. Friends and family are invited to attend the Memorial Service, Tuesday, November 20, 2007 at 1:00 PM at the PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY-Sebastopol, 301 S. Main St., Sebastopol, CA. Memorial contributions may be made to the Forestville Youth Park, P.O. Box 357, Forestville, CA 95436.
