Donna Olivia Butler Roe - In loving memory of Donna Olivia Butler Roe who died peacefully in her home in Santa Rosa on March 1, 2009. An adoring and intelligent wife and mother, a loyal supportive friend, she was taken from us far too soon. She often said her children were her greatest gift and accomplishment. However, her sons, Steven and Scott and her daughter Elizabeth owe her our greatest gratitude. She made us smart and funny and good. She was the best part of us. She is also survived by a wonderful husband, Ray Roe; a sister, Pat with whom she was very close. Several devoted nieces and nephews and many grandchildren and a great grandchild whom she admired for their charm and character; and many very close friends some of whom she has known since Mission High. A voracious reader, Donna was eclectic, strong willed, a fantastic story teller and happened to have a lovely mezzo soprano singing voice. She preferred to be remembered happily, however the sorrow of losing her for now is far too great. Thankfully she remains in all of our hearts and minds. Biggest hugs and kisses Mom, we love you.
