Donna Heinzelman - Passed away on November 13, 2012 in Santa Rosa. Devoted wife of Mike Heinzelman of Santa Rosa. Cherished mother of Teresa Heinzelman of Gualala; Michelle Huff (Steve) of Watertown, WI; Keith Heinzelman (Aimee) of El Cerrito; Charlotte Wildes (Robbie) of Carmel, ME; Daryl Heinzelman (Emily) of Santa Rosa; and Bryan Heinzelman (Laura) of Santa Rosa. Adored grandmother of Jennifer Leonard, Rebecca Huff, Jacob and Christina Wildes, and Lily and Oliver Heinzelman. Beloved great-grandmother of Hayden, Felix and Presley. Loving sister of Edith Mason of Atlanta; Marsha Schiller of Lodi, WI; and the late Walter Moses. Survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Donna was born in Racine, WI and reared and educated in WI. On January 7, 1961, she married Mike in Menomonee Falls, WI and together they enjoyed over 51 years of marriage. When her children were young, she led them as Cub Scouts and Brownies. In 1976, the family moved to Sonoma County, settling in Santa Rosa. Donna worked at the See"s Candy store in Montgomery Village for over 15 years. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing, knitting, various crafts, and playing cards. She and Mike also enjoyed being members of the Wheel-Abouts, as they loved to camp and square dance. Over the years, she was an active participant in TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) graduating to a KOPS (Keep Off Pounds Sensibly). Donna was also very active in her parish, St. Eugene"s, teaching CCD and volunteering her time and efforts. Above all, she loved her family; she will be missed.
