Doris Joan Christian

Doris Joan Christian passed away October 7, 2023, in Sebastopol, surrounded by her loved ones, at the age of 88. Beloved wife of Jerry R. Christian (deceased). Loving mother of Michele (deceased), Cheryl (deceased), Melody, Tracy (Tim), Robin, Candice (Leo), and Kimberly (Dan). Devoted grandmother of Chastity, Bradley, Bambi, Jason, Jeremy, Justin, Trina, Tiffany, Timothy, Tyler, Theodore, Ashley, Amanda, Shalynn, Shawn, Celeste, Chancellor, Christian (deceased), Cameron, and Connor. Great-grandmother of 32. Sister of Lora Lee Johnston (deceased), Stephen Davis (Janet), and Stan Davis (deceased). Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Joan worked at Pelletti Fruit Co.’s apple packhouses until she retired as a homemaker. Joan met her husband Jerry at Pacific Christian Academy and were married for 57 wonderful years. They raised seven daughters together. Besides spending time with her family, Joan enjoyed quilting with the ladies’ bible class, sewing, fishing, boating, camping, crocheting, and playing Canasta. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Forestville.
