Dorothy Lee Aggio

We lost a beautiful angel to the heavens, as she passed away peacefully in her sleep in the early morning of April 18, 2016, beloved wife of the late Sam G. Aggio. Loving mother of Debbie Fairbrook (John) of Carmichael, Kenny Aggio (Desiree) of Cotati and the late David Aggio. Cherished grandmother of Kayla Muskrat, Julian Aggio, Jared Fairbrook, Justin Fairbrook, Janae Fairbrook, Anthony Bernard and Dominica Bernard. Adored great grandmother of Jaxon David Muskrat. Dear sister of Stan Poncia of Santa Rosa and the late Jerry Poncia. A native of Sebastopol, CA. Age 81 years. A member of the Italian Catholic Federation, St. Elizabeth Seton Parish and many other organizations. Dorothy, a member of the pioneer Poncia family, married Sam Aggio in 1956 at St. Vincent's Church in Petaluma. Sam preceded her in death in 2001. She enjoyed her garden, cooking and baking. Dorothy brought love and joy to so many lives. We will miss her laughter and contagious smile. She loved to spend time with her friends, but most of all, celebrating her family. The family would like to thank all her friends for their continuous love and support over the years." We know, Mom, you will be a bright and shining star looking down on us from heaven." Visitation will be on Sunday, April 24, 2016 from 11:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. at PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma. Family and friends are invited to attend the Vigil Service, Sunday at 5:00 P.M. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 4595 Snyder Lane, Rohnert Park, CA. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated, Monday, April 25, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Entombment will be at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Petaluma, CA. The family prefer memorials be made to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Visitation
