Dorothy Mae Gesek - GESEK, DOROTHY MAE - Dorothy went home to the Lord on June 3, 2011, surround by her family at the home of her daughter and son in law, Beverly and Bill Flohr. Dorothy was born on August 4, 1921, in Santa Rosa to Perry and Mable Barnes. She is proceeded in death by her husband of 67 years Walter A. Gesek (Santa Rosa"s first assistant Chief of Police), daughter Nancy Law, and great grandson Paul Duclos. She will be dearly missed by her daughter Beverly Flohr (Bill), her grandchildren, Terry Kelsey (Doug) of Creswell, OR, Kim Heerema, and Bill Flohr (Diane) of Santa Rosa. Great grandchildren; Kristen Seablom (Douglas) of Springfield, OR, Kelly Shapanus of Weed, CA, Tony Shapanus (Aly) of Petaluma, Christian Walter Flohr, Gabrielle, Luke-Walter, Anneke, and John Heerema all of Santa Rosa and Kimberlee Kelsey of Creswell OR. She is also survived by four great-great grandchildren: Noah and Danielle Firestone, and Ezekiel Seablom of Springfield, OR and Kiana Preston of Santa Rosa. The family would like to thank Pastor Beyer and Pastor Durham of St Mark Lutheran Church and Heartland Hospice for all their love and support. They helped make this a comfortable journey for Dorothy. We specially want to thank Nancy McClure of Polson, MT for all her love and support.
