Dorothy T. O'Shea

Dorothy T. "Dottie" O'Shea - Dottie O'Shea passed away at her Petaluma residence on Sunday, May 2, 2010 at the age of 82. She was the devoted wife of the late Dr. William (Bill) A. O'Shea, and the loving mother of four boys: Robert, David, Stephen and James. She is survived by son David M. O'Shea and his wife Anne, grandchildren Molly T. O'Shea and Keith W. O'Shea, all of San Francisco; son James N. O'Shea of Dillon Beach, and brother James F. Murphy of Falmouth, MA. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, May 22, 2010 at 11:00 am at St. James Catholic Church, 125 Sonoma Mountain Parkway in Petaluma. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Petaluma, 416 Payran St., Petaluma, CA 94952. Dottie was born in Newton, MA where she attended Our Ladyâ??s Grammar School and High School. She was a Registered Nurse having graduated St. Elizabethâ??s School of Nursing in Boston. She worked as a head nurse at St. Elizabethâ??s Hospital, and later worked at St. Lukeâ??s Hospital in San Francisco when she moved west with her husband.
