Dorothy Jane Sturm

Dorothy Jane Sturm - Born December 3, 1929, longtime Petaluma resident Dorothy Jane Kastens, beloved wife of Clark E. Sturm, Jr., died on October 31, 2007 at Reedâ??s Guest Home in Rohnert Park. She was 78. Mrs. Sturm was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and later moved to Petaluma. Dot worked at Pacific Bell for many years with many promotions. She was also a volunteer for the PTA at McDowell School, Peopleâ??s Service Center and the Library Program. She enjoyed her crafts and received many awards. She loved the jitterbug. She is survived by her brother Ray Kastens (Doris) of Surprise, Arizona; daughters Sandra LaDue (Michael G.) of Carmel, CA, Pamela Sturm of Bellingham, WA and son, Paul Sturm (Monisa) of Petaluma, CA. Grandmother of Sasha, Tyler, Nicole, Meagan, and Gabrielle and great-grandmother of Jade and Ava. Friends and family are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Monday, November 5, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at 11:00 A.M. at the PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk Street, Petaluma, CA. A visitation will be held on the same day from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Petaluma, 416 Payran Street, Petaluma, CA 94952
