Dorothy Helen Swanson - Passed away on May 14, 2012 in Petaluma. Devoted wife of the late Elmer Swanson. Cherished mother of Larry Swanson (Linda) of Lancaster, CA; Sandra Tellinghuisen (John) of Petaluma; and Ronald Swanson (Alice) of Fortuna. Adored grandmother of Joel Swanson (Myllyssa), Donna Swanson, Jandi Swanson, Denise Parks (Todd), Yvonne Oâ??Hara (Robert), Jeff Tellinghuisen (Debby), Shane Swanson, and Megan Wilson (Josh). Beloved great-grandmother of fourteen and great-great-grandmother of four. Dear daughter of the late Agnette and Edward Erickson. Loving sister of the late Arlys Anderson, Ione Fertig, Jerome Erickson, and Ednor Erickson. Survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Dorothy is lovingly remembered by family and her many friends for her warm personality and gracious manner. She will live on in family, friends and all who knew her for her wonderfully accepting spirit. Private family services were held on May 18 at Cypress Hill Memorial Park, Petaluma. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Petaluma. Age: 87 years.
