Douglas "Doug" A. Booth

Passed away Wednesday, July 24 in Petaluma after a long and brave fight with Chordoma. A friend to all he met, Doug is survived by his wife, Julie, loving children, Robert Nicholas Booth of Australia, Abby Gail Kirkpatrick and son-in-law, Joel Kirkpatrick of Surprise, Arizona. Proud and loving Grandfather of Gemma June Kirkpatrick. Beloved son of Paul Booth of San Diego and the late Wilma Booth. Devoted son-in-law to Jean De Forest of Petaluma. Dear Brother of Brad (Beverly Sinclair) Booth of Vista, Ca. Also survived by the mother of his children, Gail Minnich, of Mission Viejo, Ca. Doug also leaves many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many, many friends who will miss him dearly. Also left behind is his very special loving canine companion, Hunter. A native of Riverside, Ca. Aged 59 years old. For over 35 years, Doug has been a PGA golf pro and manager. Last serving at Petaluma Golf and Country Club for the past 6 years. He enjoyed the time he spent teaching others, young and old, how to play the game he loved so much.
