Douglas Erbes

Douglas Erbes - Passed away on May 24th, 2008 in Pacifica, CA. Born in 1945 in Los Angeles, Doug later graduated from Washington University and raised Charlois cattle in Whitefish, MO with his father Bill Erbes. When they moved the ranch to California, Doug met Rusty Stansberry who became his wife. He spent the last 35 years of his life raising a family, quarter horses and Gelbvieh cattle in Windsor and operating a small fence business. He is survived by his children, Jason and Jolene; sisters, Wendy Erbes and Denise Chandler; brother-in-law, Robert Chandler; son-in-law, Brent Heckerman; nieces and nephews, Anna, Melissa, Angie, Chris; and extended family. Family and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Service on Thursday, May 29th at 1:00 P.M. at the LAFFERTY & SMITH COLONIAL CHAPEL, 4321 SONOMA HIGHWAY, SANTA ROSA, CA (707) 539-2921. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a favorite charity.
