E. Robert Mickelson

April 1, 1930 — June 9, 2017

Robert Mickelson passed away at home in his loving wife Andrea’s arms June 9, 2017. Born April 1, 1930, he is survived by his wife of 31 years, Andrea. His first wife, Lavonne, preceded him in death at the age of 51.  He is also survived by his four sons: Mike (Carolyn), Jim (Marcia), Terry (Diane), and Gary (Stephanie) along with a very close member of the family, Mark Horn.  He has numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren who all live in Sonoma County.  Bob was born and raised in Two Rock and had a great love of the outdoors, which included hunting and fishing.   He worked as a plumber at the Two Rock Army Base and San Quentin State Prison.   He served as the Chief of Wilmar Fire Department for 20 years, was a member of the Cow Mountain Hunting Club, and was a past Master of the Vitruvius Lodge.   In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Two Rock Valley Presbyterian Church or to the Wilmar Volunteer Fire Department in Petaluma.   A celebration of Bob’s life will be held at the Two Rock Valley Presbyterian Church at 11:00 on Friday, June 16 with a reception immediately following.     Celebration of Life
