Eda 'Edie' Frances Silva

Eda "Edie" Frances Silva. Born May 13, 1926 in Petaluma to parents; John and Enes Lanatti. Married Harold Silva Sr. from 1947 until his death in 2010. Her career included having a license in Cosmetology and as an LVN , working many years at Petaluma General Hospital, SR Memorial, Hillcrest Hospital and Petaluma Valley Hospital. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Maxine Hankins and Alvin Lanatti. Survived by her son, Harold Silva Jr. (late Candy) and daughter, Sherry Ferina (Marty). Proud Grandmother of Suzanne Berncich (Torey), Shelley Ferina, Johnny Ferina (Kelsey), Aaron Thompson & Nick Silva (Alisha). Great grandmother of Dalton, Tanner, Karlie & Ed Berncich, Brielle & Jenna Ferina and Luke Silva. Great Great grandmother of Stella Berncich. Special family: Toni Pimentel & Best Friend (late) Evelyn Ramatici. Also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Including her family in Italy & Australia. She dearly loved her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren, you would often see her at sporting games of her great grandkids or vacationing with them. She also enjoyed her time in her garden or chatting with many friends, attending bunco and sewing gatherings. She was a member of Sons of Italy, Sonoma Marin Italian club & Sonoma Site Seekers Camper group. In her later years she volunteered at Petaluma Valley and was most happy to be among all her co-workers and spending time visiting or chatting with her friends. At her request, no services, however family and friends are invited to attend a gathering to visit with the family on December 5th 2024 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Parent-Sorensen Mortuary and Crematory, Petaluma. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Petaluma Hospice or your favorite charity.
