Edwardine Mahoney Cann

Edwardine Mahoney Cann - Born in Petaluma to Edward Francis and Madelene Connolly Mahoney, August 18, 1923. Died March 1, 2008 in Santa Rosa, among family, after a brief illness. A 1941 graduate of Petaluma High School, she served in the US Navy WAVES from 1944 to 1946. While raising five childrene, Dene was active in 4-H, the St. Rose Motherchr(39)s Club and CYO. She also worked for the Catholic Diocese of Santa Rosa, in the chancery office and for Catholic Charities. Her garden, like her family, flourished in her quiet, generous care.
