Eileen Barbara Maier

EILEEN MAIER passed away on February 5, 2017 in Petaluma at the age of 90 years. Devoted wife of the late Arnold Maier. Cherished mother of Murphy Maier, Lynn Liddle, and the late Faye Santero. Adored grandmother of seven and numerous great-grandchildren. Loving sister of Alcina Rutscke, Grace Klein, Oliver Jung, Dale Jung, and Cynthia Lippert. Survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Eileen was born, reared and educated in Zeeland, ND. She met and married the love of her life, Arnold, and together they enjoyed over 60 years of marriage. Eileen was an active member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Petaluma and volunteered her time not only to the Church, but also to Petaluma Valley Hospital. Between 1995 and 2014, she donated all of the walker bags to discharged hospital patients. Above all, Eileen loved her family. She was a wonderful woman and will be greatly missed. Friends and family are invited to attend the Memorial Service, Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 11:00 am at St. John's Lutheran Church, 455 McNear Ave., Petaluma, CA 94952.
