Eileen Frances (Poncia) Pringle

Eileen passed away at home on February 15, 2017 after a long illness. She was born on June 12, 1936 to Lily and Eugene Poncia. She grew up in Tomales and attended Tomales High School. Eileen went on to live and work the rest of her life in Santa Rosa. Her job titles and duties changed over the years, but the one constant was her dedication to her profession and the people that she worked with at the California State Automobile Association. Always an hour early to work, she remained a loyal employee for over 35 years until her retirement in 1996. Eileen was married to Larry Pringle for 25 years, and although they later divorced, the two remained close friends until his passing in 1994. Eileen is survived by her three siblings, Helen Cummins of Santa Rosa, Sharon Poncia of Cotati and Gene Poncia of Tomales. Eileen also leaves behind several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank all of her caregivers for their kind and loving support for Eileen throughout the years. A private service and entombment will be held at the Calvary Cemetery in Petaluma. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations be made to the American Tinnitus Association, P.O.
