Elaine Phyllis Gross

Elaine Phyllis Gross, born December 27th 1927, passed away peacefully on July 28th 2014 at the age of 86. Elaine was born in Lynn, Massachusetts, and a resident of Malden, Massachusetts, Cape Coral, Florida, and Petaluma, California. Treasured wife of the late Alfred D. Gross for 58 years, Elaine is survived by her daughters Cynthia Kase Pedota (Paul) and Robin Gail Nixon; son-in-law Stuart Nixon; grandchildren Rachael Akohonae (David), Daniel Kase, Geoffrey Nixon and Charlotte Nixon; and great-grandchildren Sailor Lee and Ryder Till. She is also survived by her sister Sandra Steinberg. Elaine received her B.A. and M.A. in English from Northeastern University, and was active in Hadassah, AAUW, League of Women Voters and the Northeastern Alumni Association. She will forever be cherished and greatly missed by all who knew her. Any kind acts of charity may be made in her honor to the organization of your choice.
