Eleanor Kelly Waldron Wass passed away quietly in her sleep on May 8, 2015 at the age of 93. She was married to her first husband, Robert W. "Whitey" Waldron for 29 years and her second husband Clifford E. Wass for 35 years until he passed away. She is survived by her son, Robert Waldron and his wife Janet; Cathie Nelson and husband Glen; Clifford S. Wass and wife Debbie; Jean Coleman and husband Dave; and Bill Wass. Grandchildren are Kelly Branson, Scott Waldron, Tracy Curtis, Glenn, Michael, and Mark Nelson, Tiffany Coleman, and Donavan, Bill, and James Wass. There are also nine great grandchildren.
Eleanor was a waitress in her early years and she and her first husband owned and operated "Whitey's Drive-In" in Cotati, California in the early 1950's. She worked at Sears Roebuck in Santa Rosa from 1956 until she retired as Head Cashier in 1980.
She made her home in Cotati for 65 years. She was an avid gardener and could be found out in her garden pulling weeds until 8 months before her death.
At her request, she will be cremated and there will be no service. She always said she " wanted flowers while she was alive, not after she was dead." The family asks that if you feel the desire to send cards, flowers, etc, please do this instead: "Do something nice for someone or something you care about. You can dedicate the act to Mom's memory."
