Elena Elzi Phillips - Elena Phillips passed away on December 13, 2009 after a lengthy illness. Wife of the late Kenneth Phillips and Otto Rotthaus. Caring mother of Ritha "Rita""" Rotthaus of Petaluma. Loving daughter of the late Rita and Anton Elzi. Cherished sister of the late Lillian Ramatici and Clarence Elzi. Dear aunt of Ethel Matteri and Chris Elzi both of Petaluma and the late Vernon Ramatici. "" Elena was born, reared and educated in Petaluma graduating from Petaluma High School in 1936. She and her daughter owned and operated Phillips Stenographic Service for over 24 years. Elena was also the assistant Manager of the Petaluma Chamber of Commerce, worked for the Argus Courier and had her own radio show on KTOB entitled "News For Women""". She was an active member of the Theater Guild, Petaluma Womanâ??s Club and sang in the St. Vincent Choir. ""
