Elizabeth Marie Rucker

RUCKER, ELIZABETH M. - Passed away peacefully on October 1, 2013. She was a native resident of Santa Rosa, born February 20, 1927. Preceded in death by her husband, Melvin "Duke" Rucker, her parents, Mary and Victor Foppiano and her sister, Vickie Guenza, Betty is survived by her loving sister, Jean Vaillancourt, her daughter, Sandy (John) Bertram, her grandsons Matt (Tony) and Chris Bertram and cherished nieces and nephews. Betty lived most of her life on the family ranch in Bennett Valley. A graduate of Santa Rosa JC, she was also a lifelong member of the Bennett Valley Grange. Family and friends are invited to attend a Chapel Blessing Liturgy Service on Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. inside Madelyne's Chapel at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Santa Rosa. Memorial donations may be made to the Redwood Empire Food Bank.
