ELLEN M. "ELLIE" GENAZZI passed away on August 26, 2013 in Sebastopol. Beloved daughter of Diane Genazzi of Sebastopol and the late Fred Genazzi. Cherished sister of Riley Genazzi (Natalie) of Petaluma and Freddie Genazzi of Sebastopol. Adored granddaughter of May Genazzi of Pt. Loving niece of John and Donna Polman, Jeff Polman, Dan and Suzanne Genazzi, Ellie Genazzi, and Debbie and Wes Gray. Loving grandniece of Evelyn Gilardi. Survived by numerous cousins and friends. Age: 21 years. Ellie was born in Petaluma, but grew up in Pt. Reyes. She graduated from Tomales High School and was currently attending SRJC with aspirations of being a nurse. Always wanting to learn, she was taking courses in anthropology and Italian. Most recently, Ellie worked for the bakery department at Sprouts in Petaluma. She was very artistic and talented, especially when it came to gardening and baking, even perfecting her grandmother's pie crust recipe. She won several awards for her garden and baked goods entries in the Petaluma Fair. Ellie was also an animal lover and active in 4-H, but most of all, she had a huge heart and put her family first. Her radiant personality and happiness were contagious. She was bright and beautiful, and she will be greatly missed.
